Once upon a time...

Daydreamer, people-watcher, steering wheel singer, animal lover: I’m many things, but I’ve been an avid fan of stories for as long as I can remember.

These days, I cohabitate on the East Coast with two cats and my live-in chef (aka my significant other), and my favorite genres to read for fun or for work include suspense, fantasy, historical fiction, whodunits, quirky fiction that makes me laugh, honest biographies/autobiographies, coming-of-age narratives…the list goes on. In a nutshell, I’m a sucker for winding plots, witty turns of phrase, and complex characters.

My passion project(s)

When I find the time/bandwidth, I also write as yet unpublished poetry and fiction. I have three manuscripts in progress as part of an urban fantasy/suspense trilogy geared toward mature teen and adult audiences and set predominately in modern Boston. I’ve also started compiling a collection of poetry that I’ve played with on and off over the years, and I hope to publish it under the umbrella theme of what it’s like to be a creative type nowadays. Some of it is snarky, some of it is sad, some of it is hopeful; in theory, there’s a little something for everyone, no matter which artsy field you find yourself dabbling in most often.
