Once upon a time...
Daydreamer, people-watcher, steering wheel singer, animal lover: I’m many things, but I’ve been an avid fan of stories for as long as I can remember.
These days, I cohabitate on the East Coast with two cats and my live-in chef (aka my significant other), and my favorite genres to read for fun or for work include suspense, fantasy, historical fiction, whodunits, quirky fiction that makes me laugh, honest biographies/autobiographies, coming-of-age narratives…the list goes on. In a nutshell, I’m a sucker for winding plots, witty turns of phrase, and complex characters.

My passion projects
When I find the time/bandwidth, I also write as yet unpublished poetry and fiction. I have three manuscripts in progress as part of an urban fantasy/suspense trilogy geared toward mature teen and adult audiences and set predominately in modern Boston.
I’ve also started compiling a collection of poetry that I’ve played with on and off over the years, and I hope to publish it under the umbrella theme of what it’s like to be a creative type nowadays. Some of it is snarky, some of it is sad, some of it is hopeful; in theory, there’s a little something for everyone, no matter which artsy field you find yourself dabbling in most often.
Then there’s a children’s book idea swimming around in my head, with the theme of not just accepting introverts, but celebrating them.
And, what started as an inside joke between me and my other half has begun to evolve into a rule book of sorts based on what we’ve seen and learned, together and as individuals.
